Hosted by Immediate Past Ladies’ Captain’ and joined by past Ladies’ Captains is a picture from today when we entertained our Ladies Captain’ with an 8 hole challenge and a lovely Prosecco reception followed by a scrumptious 2 course meal. The Ladies Captain’ was presented with flowers and the first prize winner was Doreen Hesketh, with Lyndsey Ross runner up.

Today our juniors hosted Penwortham Golf Club Juniors in an SDGA match. In glorious summer sunshine, Ormskirk came away with a 3–2 victory after a closely contested and enjoyable match.

A special mention goes to our Junior Captain, Jack Holker, who produced a fantastic comeback to win on the 18th hole after finding himself 3 down earlier in the match.

Well done to all of our juniors on another excellent result and for the way they conducted themselves throughout the day. ⛳🏆

Despite the rainy weather, the Ladies Committee successfully hosted the Rose Bowl event! 🌹☔

Congratulations to Patsy Hey, who won the competition and is pictured with Ladies’ Captain Judith Temple. Patsy’s accuracy throughout the event was truly remarkable.

The day was rounded off perfectly with a scrumptious meal enjoyed by all.
