Looking for a FTCH x FTCH B&W ESS pup, in the New Year (2026). Dog or Bitch not bothered which, just has to be bred right for trialling. Preference would be a solid marked head, ie all black like the picture below.

Based Lancashire.

The Bitch in the picture is Twynyrhydd Seren out of FTW Boundarymoor Rose.

Road Trip No. 7

Last trip this season to Wentworth Estate, but again some nice dogs and decent handling on display. Looking forward to next seasons dates.

Road Trip No. 6

We recently travelled East to the A1/M to collect a Spaniel. He belongs to a friend. He’ll be in the Boundarymoor kennels for a wee while. We’ll be going for a full reset, peel his training right back and spend sometime looking at him.

I’ve seen this dog several times prior to him arriving and he truly lives up to his breeding (FTCHxFTCH) offspring.
He’s a hunting machine with little or no respect for anyone or anything around him. A project for me, and a means to get back into the sport. Hopefully we can turn him around and move on.

Back to back shooting over Spaniels. Tregynon Newtown.
Nearly never made it as some of you may have heard. But what fun…. And the gun bus was ace!

Two very good trials, supporting the Welsh KC FT Society. Was never in doubt when asked to step up and for a very good friend too.

Nothing better than shooting over dogs! Great company, sh*te weather, some very good dogs on display. Plenty of game as always. Until the next time 💥💪

Back in training after my Mighty Hike 26.7 miles (actually 46k) for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Taking things a little easier this time just 200 miles in August…
