What is FORS Safe Driving – and why does it matter? 🚛🚲

Designed for commercial drivers regularly operating LGVs in busy urban environments, FORS Safe Driving helps drivers better understand the risks faced by vulnerable road users, including cyclists and pedestrians.

The Driver CPC accredited course combines classroom theory with a practical cycling module, giving drivers the opportunity to experience the road from a cyclist’s perspective.

It’s not just about meeting requirements – it’s about building greater awareness and helping make our roads safer for everyone.

“The instructor Pat was great. He went through everything and explained anything the class was unsure about. I initially went for the 4-day ADR course, then booked the Tanks course and the Explosives course.

Because of the way Sigma and Pat explained everything and took the time to help anyone who was unsure, I passed my ADR and Tanks courses.

I then did my Explosives course on Saturday. Thanks to Mark and the way he took the time to explain things to the class – I PASSED!

Thanks again to Sigma, Pat and Mark for everything.”

Shannon came to Sigma with a car licence and a goal of achieving her Class 1. It felt like a big step at first, but with the right training, encouragement and support, she achieved exactly what she set out to do.
