Ethan at round 5 of WRYL in Doncaster having great start up towards the front of the race, ending up in a small group and working well as a 4 and whittling the group down to 2 and out sprinting them on the line after an attacking race. A strong race well done πͺ.
Earlier in the week some of our RT took on the club 10 champs with Daniel and Tom S taking P1, 2 and club title with Tom E, Emily and Ethan not far behind. PBβs all around for our riders after a fast night of time trialing π.

Kev and Al raced the Colne 34, a cagey race mixed with a greasy circuit made for a troublesome race. Unfortunately Al coming down hard and taking a trip to A&E, wishing you a quick recovery Al from everyone at Otley π. Kev managing to bag 5th place in the sprint finish πͺ.

A double weekend of racing for Ethan at Wyke and Wakefield, working with a few riders for most of the race and having a go with a few laps to, managing to sprint for 6th. A fast race with the u16βs over at Wakefield but Ethan managing to use groups as they came past to finish 8th, well done Ethan! In the 34 at a Wyke the bunch reduced over the course of the race to 12 riders, Thomas trying to get away a few times but no prevail ending in a sprint with Thomas in 5th and Kev 8th. Another great week for the team, kicking off the week in style Aden claiming victory over at York in the 34 and following it up with 8th down in Wales for the Cadence junior RR national, rides to be proud of Aden well done π.
Aden, Daniel and Zack all travelling to Wales last weekend, the course being mostly flat with a tough climb. Attacks going off the front one being Daniel himself managing to split the group but unfortunately farm traffic put an end to his effort. More attacks went Aden following one move to get into a group of 8 working well together and Daniel and Zack doing well in the bunch behind. A great race by all 3 with Adens first top 10 in a junior national and gaining his 2nd cat with the other two not far behind. Well done everyone a great team effortππ.
Closer to home Ethan raced round 1 of WRYL over at Wyke managing to settle into a group during the race and is getting stronger each time well done Ethan!!
Kev having a crack at the 200k dirty reiver, a great effort in some great weather nice one Kev π
Connor taking part in the BUCs 10 mile TT over the weekend finishing 72/185 on a hot day and riding a midweek 7 mile TT with a time of 20:13 on a tough course finishing 1st in his age group and 9th overall, well done π.

Witham Hall junior national, a 4 stage race over 2 days with 2 TTβs and 2 races on the road. Stage 1 was a 3-4 mile TT with a solid headwind to start off with but a gradual tailwind at the end, the flat terrain suiting Aden the best putting him in a good spot on GC. Stage 2 ending after 2 laps with Ed unfortunately coming down causing an early end to his weekend, all the best Ed youβll be back πͺ.
Stage 3 was another short TT this time over a long uphill drag and a tailwind this time, Daniel having the fastest time out of the boys on a course that suited him well. Stage 4 had many attacks go but nothing sticking and the group sitting up for a while until some dangerous moves went up the road with the peloton chasing for a long time. Harry, Tom S and Thomas forming a group behind and carrying on chasing whilst Aden, Zack and Daniel stuck in the main group till the sprint finishing 17th, 20th and 29th on stage 4. Well done everyone another great weekend of racing π.
Huge thanks to parents, helpers and sponsors who make this all possible for the riders:
