PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: GEORGE HUNTLEY
Talk about turning things around. Nine weeks ago, George started the season with a duck, but since that tough first week, he has gone from strength to strength. He has already tucked four half-centuries under his belt, and he backed that up yesterday with a beautiful, innings of 80 runs.
When you look at his numbers for the summer, it is easy to see the impact he is having. He has racked up 345 runs across his 9 innings so far, absolutely dismantling bowling attacks by hitting 48 fours and clearing the ropes for 5 sixes. That is a massive 53 boundaries already.
We wanted to catch up with him after the game yesterday to ask what exactly has clicked for him over the last couple of months. In classic George fashion, he was completely modest about his brilliant form and claimed that his new bat is the one doing all the work!
Whatever magic is in that willow, George, just keep doing what you're doing.

Tonight’s T20 is officially OFF. If anyone needs Chris, he’ll be pacing the boundary, glaring at the puddles, and questioning why he ever involved himself in British summertime.
