The Pearson demo day at Chevin Cycles in Harrogate is this Saturday 30th May. Two guided rides with the Pearson and Chevin team, departing at 10am and 1pm, roughly an hour each on proper Yorkshire roads.

Try the Shift 2.0 or the Forge. Ride one or use both sessions back to back. The Pearson team will be there throughout.

Saturday morning Gravel rides from Chevin Cycles, Otley

Continuing on the theme of new initiatives, the Club, working with Chevin Cycles, is pleased to announce the first of a series of regular Gravel Rides starting this Saturday, 30th May 2026. Riders meet at Chevin Cycles at 9.00.

The first ride, over 27 miles, will head north of the river on a variety of tracks through Riffa Wood, eventually reaching Muddy Boots Café, returning through Harewood and Danefield. The ride is open to members and guests and will be led by Ian Cullen, Steve Bucknell and Stuart Hall.

Although the route is designed for Gravel Bikes. Mountain Bikes are welcome too. The ride will be a steady, enjoyable pace with regular regrouping.

Older children (aged 16 and over) are welcome on the ride if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Let’s hope this is the first of many similar rides. For members the ride is on the Rides App with guests signing on for free through Trybooking. A WhatsApp group has also been set up for riders / volunteers.
