SUNDAY: 15.00 – 18.00 Acro jam at Marston Scout Hall (238 Marston Rd, Headington, Oxford OX3 0EJ). We start with a small skill share, which transitions into an open training. During summer we meet in one of Oxford's lovely parks.

TUESDAY: 19.00 – 21.00 Training at OXSRAD Sports Centre
(Court Place Farm, Marsh Lane, Marston, Oxford, OX3 0NQ). We bring a lunge most of the time and crash mats are available. People often have plans or projects they are working on with someone so if you'd like to train with others, you are expected to bring a partner/group to train with. This training is for OAS members only.

THURSDAY 19.15 – 21.00 Training just like on Tuesday. Please note access to Thursday trainings may occasionally be limited in favor of show rehearsals or other events. If this is the case we will let our members know.

Hey everyone,
Some of you will know that every year we do a Christmas show with the aerial school. This year is no exception and it's on the 26 November.
This is a fun, no pressure night and great if you want to try your hand at performance for the first time. I'm even going to run some workshops on how to perform.
If you're interested let Ben-does Acro know by the end of this week! (experienced acrobats also welcome!). Please note you have to be or become a full member of the OAS to participate in the show (This is not very hard, so don't let it stop you :) ).
Keep the date in your diary and come and support us even if you don't want to be on stage!

from next sunday onwards (2nd Oct 2022) we are moving the Sunday jams indoors for the Winter season. In order to train inside, you have to follow the steps explained below. Jams will happen 3-6pm at the Marston Scout Hall (238 Marston Road, Oxford)

*Step 1*: Be or become a member of the Oxfordshire Acro Society (OAS)

If you just want to come to a single OAS jam/event then you can sign up as a provisional member using the provisional membership form. *Step 2*: The yearly membership fee is due this October. Pay your fee of £6 for 2022/23. Select ‘membership’ at https://www.britishacrobatics.org/tokens/add

*Step 3*: Buy tokens which is the payment method we use for all OAS jams/training. You can pay for single sessions (5£), or bundles of 10 sessions (£45) or 20 sessions (£90). Sessions bought will be registered and one subtracted each time you turn up for practise.

Dear Acrobats,

The summer is (almost) over and soon we will start indoor acro sessions again. That means also, that for the *Oxfordshire Acro Society* (short: OAS) our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will happen soon again on October 3rd 6:30pm (location: TBA). Are you interested in taking part in OAS, want to contribute to OAS by having a role in the committee and/or do want to vote for a new committee? Then make sure you are a current member of OAS! For that please fill out the google form below (link 1) and check out our constitution (link 2). Please be aware that we ask OAS members for an annual fee of £6 in autumn for covering insurance costs (payment see link 3). If you just want to attend a singular events then fill out the provisional membership form (link 4) and indicate the event date. This form is only valid for the date of the event.

If you are a OAS member, you should soon receive the official invitation for the AGM by email ([email protected]). You may also want to be part of the OAS private facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1663710137163593 (be aware only members will be accepted in this group so make sure you are a member first)

MESSAGE FOR ALL ASPIRING PERFORMERS

During the weekend of 27 and 28 of August we are doing a little open stage! Acrobatic as well as any other kind of piece is welcome! A full blown act or just a couple tricks, anything goes!
