I just run a casual society at the moment where anyone who wants to organise a session can, and we’re generally playing once or twice a week at the moment :)

Hey everyone! 😎😎

So have been thinking a bit about how we run the society and am thinking that for running sessions in the future it’s probably going to be easier to instead use a whatsapp group chat rather than facebook events, at least over winter.

So to test this out I’ve created a whatsapp group chat. If you’re keen to come to sessions over the coming terms then please join. Information about sessions will be arranged there instead of on here.

This also has the advantage of meaning that if anyone ever wants to arrange a spontaneous game they can recruit people from the chat and go whenever suits them, rather than having to be at a set time.🥳🥳

Silverware for Oxford University Roundnet! Well done to Ed Aldous (St Hugh’s) and Ross Toward (St Anne’s) for taking home second place at the GB University Roundnet Nationals this weekend.

Thanks to and for hosting the day. Congrats to and everyone else for taking part.

We’re on for our first Roundnet session of the term today at 4! Weathers looking lovely, the usual suspects are back, I couldn’t be more pumped; hopefully see you all there! 🥳🤩💪🏾

Unfortunately weathers not looking great tomorrow, so we may have to rearrange to Thursday at 4. Will confirm this tomorrow.

Organised sport is able to resume from Monday! Finally lockdown is easing up, and with Summer approaching it is ideal conditions to start playing some Roundnet. If you’re new to the society or to the game please come along, we have all levels of players attend.

We will start to organise weekly sessions again, and post details of these on here. If you’re thinking of coming I’d encourage you to join our group chat where we organise to play, either comment on this post or ping me a message (Romi Aggarwal) and I’ll add you.
