Our U19 Div 1 Stars head to Invicta tonight to get their 2026/27 campaign underway.

Last night, three of our U19 Junior Stars – Ethan, AJ and Billy – made their senior debuts with the Oxford Stars in their pre-season game against Chelmsford Chieftains! 🏒

What a way to start the 2026/27 season and a fantastic opportunity for the boys to take that next step on the Oxford hockey pathway. We’re all incredibly proud of you! 💙💛

A huge thank you to Warren and everyone at Oxford Stars for supporting the boys both on and off the ice and giving our young players these opportunities.

Both our U19s and Oxford Stars are back in action later today as their seasons officially get underway! 🔥

Good luck to everyone pulling on a Stars jersey today.

Our Junior Stars are raring to go, with three teams in action:

🏒 SATURDAY - U14s are in Bristol
🏒 SUNDAY - U10s are in Slough, with Cardiff & Bristol too
🏒 SUNDAY EVENING - U19 Div 1 head across to Invicta

The club is buzzing to get the new season underway and see our Stars back doing what they love! 💙💛

⭐️ A NEW CHAPTER FOR GIRLS’ HOCKEY IN OXFORD! ⭐️

We’re incredibly excited to announce that Oxford Junior Stars will have a U16 Girls team competing in the WNIHL this season – a first for Oxford in over a decade! 🏒

And today, that new chapter begins as our U16 Girls come together as a team for the very first time, heading to Chelmsford for a friendly pre-season scrimmage.

For the 2026/27 season, our girls will have their own dedicated weekly training slot, coaches, and a stronger pathway through to senior women’s hockey with the Midnight Stars and Shining Stars.

It will undoubtedly be a season of growth, development and plenty of firsts as this new team finds its feet – and we can’t wait to watch them grow together throughout the season.

For now, good luck to everyone heading to Chelmsford today. Enjoy your first time on the ice together and the start of something very exciting for girls’ junior hockey in Oxford! 💙💛

Whether you’re an avid hockey fan or completely new to the game, this Saturday’s Oxford Stars Fun Day is an event not to be missed!

Come down to Oxford Ice Rink, enjoy some great ice hockey, support our senior team and celebrate the pathway from our youngest Junior Stars right through to senior hockey.

We’re excited to be supporting this event, with our U10s and U12s taking to the ice for a Mini Prospects Game, plus some of our U19 players getting the opportunity to line up alongside the Stars in their exhibition game.

We can’t wait to see the Stars get their season underway and our Junior Stars family will be bringing the noise and supporting them throughout! 📣

There’s going to be a chance to meet the team, watch them play scrimmages, seeing our kit for the first time and even a skate with the players!!

It’s free entry and is now on from 4:30PM till 7:30PM!

As our Junior Stars prepare to hit the ice tonight, one of our returning players this season, Oscar, jetted off to Belgium this morning to take part in the U15 Five-Nation Development Event! 🏒🇧🇪

A fantastic opportunity to compete internationally, continue his development alongside some of the best young players in his age group, and represent England. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Enjoy every moment, play with pride, and make some brilliant memories.
