Racket restringing and customising service covering Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Welcome to the Oxford Restring page. Yes!*.
I provide a premium tennis/squash/badminton racket restringing service across Oxfordshire and Reading. I have been stringing rackets professionally for over 10 years and believe the work I carry out to be the best available. Will a fresh new string job make you a better player? I have worked for a number of racket specialists over the years and have also provided racket customisation for private c
lients. If you're completely new to racket stringing/customisation I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have and guide you as to what string and racket specification will best suit your game so please feel free to phone up, send a text or an email. I stock a variety of strings from basic synthetic guts (starting at £12 fully strung) to multifilament strings and polyesters. If you require a specific string, I can source almost every string in 24-48hrs. If you would like to provide your own string, I am more than happy to string your racket using this. A basic labour charge for synthetic (non natural gut) string is £10 per racket. If you would like rackets regripped I also stock a range of grips to suit most needs. Grips start at £5 for a good replacement (babolat/Wilson/tecnifibre etc). I also stock good quality overgrips starting at £2 each. Again, should you require any specific grips, they can also be sourced at short notice. I specialise in the application of traditional leather grips to rackets. The leather grips I provide most are Fairway by Balmforth which are by far the highest quality leather grip on the market. I like to try and fit around your schedule (as we're all so busy nowadays!) so should circumstances permit, I am able to collect rackets and drop them off to you. I also provide a while-you-wait service should circumstances permit this. The pictures above are all examples of work I've carried out.
