This works every time šŸ™šŸ¼

The algorithm doesn’t hate you, your content doesn’t suck…but you are starting to sound like everyone else and you don’t really know who you’re talking to.

It’s okay, we’ve all been there. SAVE this post for later or SEND it to a friend who could do with a boost!

Now try one of these 7 personality driven hooks for your next reel or carousel:

ā€œI used to think.....but now I think thisā€

ā€œI might be wrong but...ā€

ā€œYou don’t want to hear this butā€¦ā€

ā€œThings that changed everything for me in/about ____ā€

ā€œDay 1 of figuring out ____ā€

ā€œIf you were my best friend/little sister and you asked me about ____ I’d tell you:ā€

ā€œWhat I really want to say when people ask me ā€œ____ā€ is:ā€

My definition of rich isn’t really defined by my bank balance. Yes, it’s comfortable. I value stability, freedom and contentment and all of those things require a degree of financial security.

But I’m so BORED of people using inflated income claims and payment screenshots that don’t show the bigger picture to ā€˜sell’ success.

Success looks and feels different on everyone and until you figure out exactly how that looks for you, identify who you need to BE in that version of yourself, and craft an action plan to getting there…you’re going to keep scrolling and saving the same rinse and repeat ChatGPT (I said it…) advice.

Want to do it differently? Let’s talk. I’ve got a space coming up in May for 1-1 mindset and growth coaching. I’m so fricking confident we can transform your life, but you have to WANT it and you have to stop just talking (or thinking) about it.

There are seasons where the logistics, responsibility and invisible work all just does seem to sit with you. ā€œDon’t do everything!ā€ Well who the f**k else is going to do it?…

That’s real, and pretending otherwise isn’t helpful. But there’s also another layer to this that feels a bit harder to admit.

When you’re a highly capable, high achieving woman who never really learnt to say ā€œnoā€ you hold yourself and your life to high standards. It’s not just about what everyone else expects of you; YOU want to be a great mum, a thoughtful friend, fit and healthy, a present partner, great at your job…

People pleasing gets blurred with genuine personal values because we don’t want to say yes all the time, but it also means something to us to do the things and do them well.

There’s often a seldom-acknowledged trade-off with delegation. You can hand something over, but it might not be done the way you’d do it. 🫣

I could ask the kids’ dad to buy their new clothes. But would he place the same coordinated Zara order I would? Uhmmmm

So then is that the mental load? Or is it something that actually matters to me? I care about how my children look. I could choose to let that go a bit, or not.

I saw talking recently about gaining back hours a month when she realised she didn’t actually care about having ā€˜done’ nails. What a win! I do care, so I still block out two hours every 3 weeks for BIAB…

Maybe that’s the secret: deciding what we genuinely value vs. what is asked of us or we THINK we should value (usually because society says so).

A filter I find useful for this is the five-year rule. Will this matter in five years?

Skipping a dinner with a friend because you’re completely knackered this week? Hopefully not.

Not attending a wedding because you’d prefer the weekend to yourself? Yeah, they’ll likely remember.

You are capable of doing a lot. That’s not the issue. But your capability and your capacity are not the same thing.

You CAN do everything…just not all at once, all the time.

Comment PROMPTS for 100 more!! šŸ’Œ

If your content feels a bit flat lately, it’s probably not your strategy - it’s your storytelling (or lack of…)

Connection doesn’t come from trends or algorithms; it comes from the moments that make people say, ā€œomg me too.ā€ These 33 storytelling hooks will help you turn everyday thoughts, client results, and lessons learned into posts people actually stop to read (and save for later).

Save this for your next content planning session - it’s your shortcut to more interesting, binge-worthy posts that build trust, not just reach. šŸ™šŸ¼āœØ

Confessions of a Small Business owner: I’ve run multiple ā€˜successful’ companies, and supported hundreds of clients to do the same, for almost a decade. But that doesn’t mean I have it ALL figured out!

The last few months (okay, year) has been stressful AF for a lot of personal reasons and recently I’ve seen it manifest negatively in my health too.

I’ll be the first to tell anyone: your business doesn’t work unless you do! Interchange that for family, friendships, whatever…But taking your own advice? Harder. Much f**king harder.

So maybe I ā€˜shouldn’t’ share this. But I’ll always pitch for honesty above any ā€œperfectā€ image. I genuinely do believe when you ask for more, the universe tests whether you can really handle it first. Please cut me some slack soon babe šŸŒ™āœØšŸ™šŸ¼

PS. This post was inspired by who recently shared her behind the scenes worries and stresses beautifully.
