He’s back! Milton Pools regular Andy made the long trip in the hunt for some of our Catfish and maybe a Carp or two and I think it’s safe to say he achieved both ✅✅.
During a 48hour session on pegs 2 & 3 on the Specimen Lake Andy managed to net himself 5 Catfish with the biggest 2 being 56lbs and 54lbs, as well as losing another 5. He also managed to bag himself 4 Carp with the biggest being 21lbs.
Some cracking fish mate well done 🎣 and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

*NEW LAKE RECORD!!!*
Jordan Axtell left this morning a VERY happy man!
Fishing peg 18 on the Specimen Lake for 24 hours, at 1:30am this morning Jordan had a screaming run and after a fight that lasted over an hour a monstrous Catfish slipped into his net and the scales read 85lbs 14oz a NEW Milton Pools record!!!
Jordan was fishing 2 x 20mm Halibut Pellets on their own over no other bait.
Huge congratulations Jordan well done!

Another lovely message we got sent in this past week from Rebecca would brought her two sons for their trip to Milton Pools last weekend in the hope of catching a few carp from the Kidney Lake. Think it is safe to say they enjoyed themselves because the came back the very next day.
“Hi, my two sons and I spent the day fishing on kidney lake, we had such a great day. The tackle shop man was so helpful, knowledgeable & kind. He spent so much time supporting my two boys and I ensuring we netted a few carp! We got 3 carp in the end & some lovely smaller fish. We will be back!
Also thankyou to the kind lady who helped us find our way to you when we got lost by staying on the phone. Best wishes. Rebecca.”
Thank you so much for your kind words and we’re really glad you enjoyed your experience here and we look forward to seeing you all again many more times in the future 🎣.

*LIAM’S BACK AT IT AGAIN!!!*
You can definitely tell it’s Catfish weather, Milton Pools regular Liam Foley returned again this past week to see if he could repeat his previous Catfish haul from a couple of weeks ago and SURPRISE SURPRISE…HE DID!!!
This time fishing peg 16 on the Specimen Lake Liam had 16 Cats up to 66lbs including a couple of double takes something which is always extremely fun especially when you’re fishing alone. On the first night he wound his rods in at 2am as, as he said in his own words he was dead.
Absolutely monstrous session as always Liam and no doubt we will see you again very very shortly 🎣😂 well done.

Last weekend Milton Pools regular Hal Gregory returned to fish peg 4 on the Specimen Lake for the bank holiday weekend. As always he managed to get on the fish with multiple takes happen in a short period of time and in the end he managed to get 13 fish on the bank.
Hal had a mixture of Commons, Chagois and Grass Carp each weighing 19lbs, 22lbs, 24lbs & 28lbs respectively along with his biggest Catfish weighing 42lbs.
As always a massive well done Mr. Gregory and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
