📍 Classes based in Thame, Chinnor & Haddenham across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

We're looking for someone who:

✨ Loves working with children

✨ Is passionate about dance and movement

✨ Is reliable, professional and enthusiastic

✨ Can create a fun, positive learning environment

✨ Has previous teaching experience (preferred)

✨ MEET THE TEAM #6 ✨
💕Miss Lizzie💕

Miss Lizzie began dancing at the age of 4 and has loved performing ever since. She trained in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz for 12 years, undertaking graded examinations with both RAD and ISTD.

Alongside her practical training, Miss Lizzie also studied Dance at both GCSE and A-Level, further developing her knowledge and passion for the performing arts. She has had the opportunity to perform choreography by several well-known musical theatre choreographers throughout her training.

At JSOD, Miss Lizzie teaches Line Dancing, Ballet, and Tap, where she loves sharing her passion for dance with younger students and helping them discover their own love for performing.

We are so happy to have Miss Lizzie as part of the team! 🩷🩰

✨️MEET THE TEAM #5✨️

🩷Miss Amy🩷

Miss Amy started dancing at the age of 3 and has trained in a variety of styles. She competed for 8 years in ISTD Disco Freestyle and Rock ‘n’ Roll competitions, qualifying for the Grand Finals several times. 

After studying dance for GCSE and A Level, Miss Amy went on to university and gained a BA (Hons) in Dance and Performance from Buckinghamshire New University in 2024. As part of her 3-year degree, she studied modules such as: Teaching & Learning, Fitness Instruction, Choreography, Dance Anatomy, Nutrition and Community Dance (which included a work placement teaching in a primary school).

Miss Amy has taught children of all ages in several dance styles across a range of settings, including dance schools, a performing arts school, and primary and secondary after-school clubs. She has choreographed dances for a range of shows and dance festivals. 

Miss Amy teaches the Haddenham ballet/tap class and the Chinnor baby ballet class. She thoroughly enjoys watching the children progress and grow in confidence each week!

✨ MEET THE TEAM #4 ✨
🩷MISS RACHEL🩷

From a young age, dance has always been a huge part of Miss Rachel’s life. She began her journey right here at JSOD, where she developed both her skills and a love for performing. As she grew older, she continued her training academically, studying Dance at both GCSE and A-Level.

Miss Rachel is currently studying for a degree in Dance Performance at university, where she is further developing her technique, creativity, and experience. Alongside her studies, she now teaches at the very same dance school where her journey began.

“It is incredibly rewarding to support and inspire the next generation of dancers, and I am excited to watch the children develop both their skills and confidence over time in the same way I did!”

We are so proud to have Miss Rachel on the team and can’t wait to see her continue to grow as both a teacher and a performer! 💛
