For over a decade, swimmers have returned year after year to these truly magical open water events. From the Lock to Lock 4K, to the epic 10K downstream marathon swim, and the brutal 20K SwimRun, these swims inspire dedication, challenge, and unforgettable experiences.

That dedication is matched by the same experienced team and organisers who have supported open water swimmers and swimming events across the UK for many years.

These are not overcrowded mass events — numbers are intentionally very limited, preserving the beauty, grace, and magic of each swim.

From our test results you can clearly see the low levels, way below the recommended excellent 500 cfu’s per 100ml for E-coli and Intestinal Enterococci.

The 10K Marathon Swim in September crosses three locks, with moments to pause before continuing. Many swimmers describe what unfolds as two journeys becoming one — the physical effort and the emotional, internal experience forming together as the swim progresses. What happens between the locks is a space of freedom, awareness, and connection.

The countdown is on! The Lock 2 Lock Swim Series is fast approaching, and we’re kicking things off with the 4K Epic Downstream Swim from Eynsham to King’s Lock on 14th June.
