Congratulations to everyone getting their A Level results today! Whether you’ve played handball before, or are curious about trying a new sport, we’d love to get you involved.

In October we will be running taster sessions, the dates and times will be confirmed later. In the meantime, if you have any questions then please send us a message or catch us at the fresher’s fair on the 4th and 5th of October.

1. LFD Testing and COVID
Due to the continuing rise of COVID cases throughout the country.

Everybody who attends training should be doing regular Lateral Flow Testing. This is strongly encouraged.

If you have any of the following symptoms,
DO NOT ATTEND TRAINING and get a PCR Test:

- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
- Common cold symptoms e.g. Runny nose, sore throat, etc

and as a reminder, you MUST book onto all training session before attending.

2. Monday Training

Due to lack of attendance, we are now encouraging all players to attend the Monday morning session.

As we have said before, this is a good session for the students as you will all be awake anyway - completing tutes and reading some books.

We were very fortunate to join and in handball games with Charlotte and Stuart from . They're doing an absolutely amazing job in raising money for MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association). Charlotte and Stuart will be attempting EVERY SINGLE Olympic event over the 17 days of the Tokyo Games. It's all for an amazing cause, so please do check out their page and donate what you can, and also follow them along their journey. If you haven't already seen, our Men's uni team won the first ever BUCS Shield competition (2nd tier) on Sunday.

Strong performances all round, with a revenge victory against Warwick University Handball Club in the final.

Thanks to England Handball Association and British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) for putting on the first competitve handball in over a year.
