WE’RE NOMINATED FOR CLUB OF THE YEAR AT THE OXFORD UNIVERSITY SPORT AWARDS!!!

We’re so proud of our club members who have been nominated in the 2026 Oxford University Sport Awards shortlist.

Finley and Jessica have been nominated for their exceptional personal contributions to the club, and the A Team have been nominated for Sporting Moment of the Year, for their outstanding victory in the Southampton BULSCA competition dry SERC.

Six Oxford lifesavers joined forces with Marie from bristolunilsc and Hugh from southamptonlifesaving to field two Oxford teams for the second bulsca competition on the bounced . Congratulations to Oxford A and OxBS for some great swims and some excellent performances in the SERCs.

In addition to thanking Marie and Hugh, we would like to send a massive thank you to Eloise (and everyone at lborolifesaving) for organising a brilliant competition. A special thank you must also go to Wonderful Moment Ltd, whose support has enabled us to attend every BULSCA league competition this season!

We had a brilliant time at Southampton’s 2026 competition.

We started the day strong by taking 2 teams and we ended it even stronger with some amazing results.

A couple of weeks ago we held our 2026 Cuppers competition! It was a huge success with many people coming along to give lifesaving a try. Well done to .club for your victory! 🎉 Thanks to our committee and instructors for organising and running the day. 🐧🏊‍♀️

Team OULSC had a brilliant time at Bristol comp yesterday. We came 5th in the A league, including placing 3rd in the dry SERC!!! A great wet and set of speeds too. Well done penguins! 🐧

We have had a great year so far at OULSC, including a great collection of fantastic socials! From ice cream to ice discos, walks to watching films and concerts, we have had lots of fun as a club this term! 🐧🕺
