The power of pilates! Oh and another pic of Joseph teaching in his underwear 🤣.
One of Joseph Pilates most prominent clients was Roberta Peters—a renowned opera singer whose career took off in 1950 after standing in for another performer. Shortly after entering the limelight, Roberta began training at the Contrology Gymnasium with Joseph Pilates. It was here that she worked to strengthen her core and diaphragm, improving her performance and eventually landing her a spot at the impressive Metropolitan Opera.
All that being said, Pilates truly is a dynamic fitness modality that can create a transformative impact in anyone’s life—even singers!
Learning Pilates in a 1:1 or 2:1 environment can elevate and improve your pilates practice whatever your level.
Whether you only want to learn on a 1:1 basis or you want an add on to your usual group lesson practice. This approach can also help build confidence if you are unsure of joining a group or you need specific exercises to help recovery from injury.
I offer a plan from 6-12 weeks designed specifically to your requirements.
2:1 classes can be fun if you want to learn with a friend or family member. (Plus helps by sharing the cost).
I am also available to hire for retreats or activity breaks etc

I also have diary space if you want a more bespoke class on a 1:1 basis or 2:1 if you want a personal class with a friend/ family member etc. This is a valuable way to learn or improve your pilates practice . You can achieve great results very quickly. Also suitable if you are recovering from injury or illness and need to build your strength back at your pace, or you just need a confidence boost before you join a group class.
Group classes are small (8 people max) with flexible payment options.
