🏉 FULL-TIME: OXFORD RFC 22–14 GROVE RFC 🏉

A competitive preseason fixture saw both sides battle hard, with Grove taking a 14–12 lead into half-time.

The first half was closely contested, with both teams making the kind of mistakes you’d expect at this stage of preseason. However, there were plenty of positive signs too, with both Oxford and Grove showing attacking intent and creating some exciting moments.

The second half saw Oxford step up the gears, turning the pressure into points and eventually securing a 22–14 victory. 💚

With both teams making plenty of substitutions, it was a great opportunity for players to put their hands up and show the coaches they’re ready to compete for places across both the 1st XV and 2nd XV.

A valuable run-out, plenty to build on, and another step towards the new season. 💪🏉
