We’re so proud to reveal today that our dogs have been training in real-life settings. Maple and her team members indicate if they smell the odour of the virus on an individual, who will then take a PCR test so we can confirm how super our sniffers are. It’s fast, reliable, non-invasive and will enable earlier self-isolation to prevent onward transmission.

And this is why I cycled up & down that hill so many times!!! Everyone’s sponsorship, over £11k...... has genuinely made a difference!!! Thankyou each & every person that contributed in any way with donations, support, roadside cheering, riding support, good luck messages, lending kit, logistics.... the list goes on & on. Wouldn’t of been possible without each & every person! Medical Detection Dogs
The results of our trial are in and prove that dogs can detect the odour of the disease with high levels of accuracy: a sensitivity of 94.3% sensitivity and up to 92% specificity.
This means they can very reliably identify when people do and do not have the disease and crucially, they detected it even when samples were from asymptomatic individuals.
We are delighted to be sharing this news which confirms what we’ve always known –

This girl can...and did!!! 🤩
Sam will join a very elite group of cyclists who have completed the Everesting challenge - “the most difficult climbing challenge in the world”
What an incredible achievement. 30,000ft of climbing, non-stop, on Watlington Hill.
Sam needed to complete the challenge in 24 hours and totally smashed it.
I know I wasn’t the only one to feel immensely proud of Sam. Thank you to everyone who supported, I know Sam is massively appreciative and we will update you on the total raised over the next few days.
Rest up Sam, you absolute bloody legend 🏆
