MATCH REPORT - Holland Sports Panthers U15 8–2 Uckfield Lions U15
Holland Sports Panthers produced an impressive attacking display to secure a convincing 8–2 victory over Uckfield to make it two wins out of two and some fantastic football.
The Panthers got off to the perfect start when Harry Mason opened the scoring after just four minutes, giving Holland Sports an early 1–0 lead.
Uckfield responded six minutes later to level the scores at 1–1. The Panthers continued to push forward, creating opportunities and eventually regained the lead just before half-time. Dan Jones struck in the 35th minute to make it 2–1 at the break.
The second half was where the Panthers really hit their stride.
Just five minutes after the restart, Rufus Wilcox extended the advantage to 3–1, before Ben Salter added a fourth only two minutes later. Uckfield pulled another goal back in the 52nd minute, but the Panthers quickly regained control.
Ben then grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 59th minute to make it 5–2, before Kylan McFarlane coolly added a sixth six minutes later.
With the Panthers firmly in control, Alex Pickervance got himself on the scoresheet in the 69th minute, making it 7–2.
There was still time for one more, as Paddy Kember calmly converted from the penalty spot (top bins) in the dying seconds to complete an excellent 8–2 victory.
