⛵ Pagham Yacht Club – Weekly Round-Up
Another week has flown by at PYC, with paddling, cards, sailing and plenty more happening around the club. And with a very busy few weeks ahead, there’s lots to get in the diary!
🛶 Paddlers
Paddlers evening had a great turnout, with plenty of people getting out on the water and enjoying themselves.
Sadly, with the evenings drawing in and losing the light on a Wednesday evening, this coming Wednesday will be our last Wednesday Paddlers session.
However… watch this space! 👀
We’re looking at moving Paddlers to Saturdays, subject to demand. The weather may be getting a little cooler, so it could be time to dig out those wetsuits! 🌊
If there’s enough interest, we’d love to keep everyone getting out on the water for a little longer.
🃏 Friday – Play Your Cards Right
Friday saw another evening of Keith’s Play Your Cards Right, and this week Mark Cooper won the jackpot! 🎉💷

Saturday was a quieter day at the club – a chance to relax, enjoy a drink and take in that PYC view!

Sunday saw our sailors back out on the water with Sandra Howard as Race Officer, and we managed to get two races in.

We’re looking for members who would like to help out with the galley and join our Galley WhatsApp group. It’s not just about cooking – it’s a great opportunity to make friends, have some fun and be part of putting on food and events at PYC.
Food Hygiene qualifications are also available for anyone who would like to get involved.
The more people who join in, the easier – and more enjoyable – it is for everyone! 🥪🍳☕️
⛳ Did You Know We Have PYC Golf?
Don’t forget that PYC Golf is another way to get involved with the social side of the club.
If you fancy joining them for a round, please contact Clive Briggs, or speak to any committee member and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Whether you’re already a golfer or just fancy getting involved, it’s another opportunity to meet people and have some fun away from the water. ⛳

Our Macmillan fundraising weekend is nearly here! Cake and tombola donations are very welcome, so please support us and help raise as much as we can for a fantastic cause.

Ploughman’s and a pint, medium glass of wine or soft drink, plus Keith’s Play Your Cards Right. A great Friday night at the club!
Sunday 11th October – Autumn Walk 🍂🥾
Join us for our Autumn Walk to the Crab & Lobster, with refreshments at the pub or back at PYC.
Friday 16th October – PYC Fashion Show Extravaganza 👗✨
This one should be a night to remember! Our very own PYC Fashion Show, complete with catwalk, models and plenty of laughs. You won’t want to miss it!
Saturday 24th October – Oktoberfest 🍺🥨
