🏆 GENTS’ NOMINATED FOURS FINAL 🏆

Next to finish on Friday night was the Gents’ Nominated Fours, and what a game it turned out to be!

Two very strong teams battled it out for the trophy in a real nail-biter, with very little between them right through to the final end. 👏

In the end, it was Dougie Craig, Mark Wylie, David Houston and Andy Howat who came out on top, once again becoming our Gents’ Fours Champions and lifting the Duncan Stewart Cup! 🏆🎉

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Dougie, Mark, David and Andy — another fantastic achievement from the four of you. 👏👏

Hard lines to Ryan Kerr, Freddy Nisbet, Freddie Graham and Craig Sinclair, but a big well done for reaching the final and for putting on such a great display on the night.

A cracking final and a brilliant game for everyone watching!

🏆 LADIES’ PRESIDENTS FINAL 🏆

Next up in our busy Finals Weekend, Friday night saw three club finals being contested — the Gents’ Nominated Fours, Ladies’ Presidents and Ladies’ Balloted Pairs.

It was a fantastic night at the club, with three great finals and a brilliant turnout of members coming along to support the players and enjoy some exciting bowls. 👏

The first trophy decided on the night was the Ladies’ Presidents, contested between our current champion Abbie Harris and Angie Kerr.

Angie put up a great fight and pushed Abbie all the way, but Abbie came through to take the win and retain the Ladies’ Presidents trophy for another year! 🏆🎉

Hard lines to Angie after a great run to the final, and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Abbie on another excellent performance and another title! 👏👏

Unfortunately, Abbie had to head off immediately after the game due to other commitments, so we didn’t manage to get our usual winner’s photo on the night — but that certainly doesn’t take away from another fantastic achievement!

Well done, Abbie! 🏆

🏆 GENTS’ CONSOLATION CUP FINAL 🏆

What a weekend it was at Ralston Bowling Club! 😅

The action got underway early on Friday afternoon with the Gents’ Consolation Cup Final, featuring Roger Black and Ian Redmond.

A big well done to both players for making it through to the final and putting on a great game. 👏

Hard lines to Roger, who just missed out on the trophy, but a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Ian Redmond, who came out on top to become our 2026 Gents’ Consolation Cup Champion! 🏆🎉

Fantastic achievement, Ian — well done! 👏👏

Three days of finals, Champion of Champions action, some fantastic performances and plenty of success for Ralston Bowling Club.

A huge well done to all our winners, finalists and everyone who represented the club over an incredibly busy weekend. 👏

And, as always, a massive thank you to everyone who came along to support the players.

💎 Diamond Jubilee 💎

This year Ralston Bowling Club celebrates its Diamond Jubilee 💎 with a fun night planned on Friday 18th September with a Wappenshaw being played at 5pm. There is a sheet on the Mixed Notice Board to add your name to 😃👍

🏆 Ladies v Seniors 🏆

Last Thursday it was the Annual Ladies v Seniors Friendship game with everyone having a good afternoon and it was the "Laddies" who won the Trophy 🏆 thanks to everyone who came along to play 😃👍

Don't forget your Joker tickets this week - draw taking place tonight with a Jackpot of £1,252!
