Anyone coming on the busses tomorrow be at the club no later than 8.30am. Bus will leave 8.45 on the dot to allow us time to get organised at Sighthill BC.

Once again this historic building next door to us suffers more damage. It’s been in a dreadful state for many years & being a listed building means it can’t be demolished but also results in too much red tape for anyone to take it over & make something of it. So dangerous for those living in the attached flats too. It’s been lying derelict since 2008, something needs to be done before someone gets hurt.

Calside at the junction of Neilston Road in Paisley has since reopened following a fire.

Around 4.55pm on Sunday, 28 June, 2026, emergency services were called to a disused building in the Calside area.

The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no injuries.

The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
