Clyde Judo are Renfrewshire's largest judo club and offer sessions for both children and adults.
Clyde Judo meets in various locations across Renfrewshire and Glasgow and welcomes children (from 5 years old and above) and adults. The club (which is non-profit) teaches:
Judo skills and techniques
Trains players to pass the national grading tests
Supports players who wish to enter Judo competitions
If you’re interested in trying judo, please feel free to come along to one of our sessions or pop us a message!

Clyde Grand Prix wrapped up for another fantastic year! 🙌
We want to say a huge thank you to all our incredible officials, referees, and volunteers. These events simply wouldn’t be possible without your time, effort, and dedication.
A special shoutout to our volunteers. You truly are an amazing group, and we’re so lucky to have you. From mat moves to tuck shops, bottle stalls, and everything in between, your hard work does not go unnoticed.
We appreciate every single one of you 💙

What a great day at Clyde Festival 2026 🙌
Fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. Loads of effort, energy, and support across the whole event. Everyone who took part should be proud of what they brought to the mat 🥋

GLASGOW TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
Well done to Rebecca, Angel, Connor, Andrew, Fraser C, Matthew, Noah and Fraser A who all competed at the Glasgow Teams Championships yesterday. Coming away with a hard fought bronze medal.
After a strong start coming 1st in the pool stage then narrowly losing to the eventual winners. Then finishing strong in the fight for bronze with only half a team.
Some lovely judo on show, well done guys 💪💙
