Its with much sadness we have to announce the passing of Colin Macgregor.

Colin passed away peacefully after a short illness, his family was by his side.

Colin started his chess in Dundee, but for the last 35 plus years was a popular figure in Glasgow and Dumbarton chess leagues.

He always had time to help others and had many a wee story to tell about his chess life.
RIP colin.

Thanms for all you new followers.
Just a shame you dudes live miles away.
If you ever find yourself in the vicinity feel free to pop in and have a game.

Huge congratulations to RCC member and A team captain Alan Jelfs on his impressive display at the Oban Challengers event over the weekend.

Alan posted an impressive unbeaten 4.5/5 to tie 1st equal and share the winners honours with Daniel Thomas. A great effort by both players.

First match of the new season and our A team beat east Kilbride 4-2.
Well done troops

Just to let everyone know that we've had to change our venue. We'll be playing at St Mary's Church Hall, Newton Street, Paisley PA1 2RP.
We'll now be playing on Thursday evenings between 1930 and 2200
