❤️ 4½ YEARS. 2 CLASSES A WEEK. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY. ❤️

When I took over this U3A senior class from a fellow instructor 4½ years ago, I honestly had no idea what to expect.

What would the vibe be?
Would I be the right instructor?
Would I be ready for the challenge?

Well… 4½ years later, I couldn’t be prouder. 🥰

We started with just one class a week and look at us now! We’ve grown so much in numbers, strength, confidence, friendships and, most importantly, community that we’ve had to add another class! 🎉

And this is what I’ve learned along the way:

It doesn’t matter what your age, shape, size, background or beliefs are.

We all have something wonderfully human in common, we want to move, stay active, feel healthy, laugh, connect and spend time with other people. ❤️

Because keeping our bodies moving helps keep our minds happy.
Being around others keeps us connected.
And having a good laugh together? Well… that might be the best exercise of all! 😂

To my wonderful U3A family! THANK YOU.
Thank you for your energy, your commitment, your laughter, your friendship and for all the wisdom you share with me every single week.

I am incredibly grateful for every one of you. ❤️
