Peebles Tennis Club

We’ve set dates for the next two social events - Saturday 12th September at 1.30pm, and Friday 9th October at 6.00pm.
For those that have not been before, we play mixed doubles, changing partners after each round, then sit down for something to eat and drink in the clubhouse afterwards. All welcome.

As part of our planning application for clubhouse solar panels we need to carry out a bat survey. Anyone have any knowledge or company recommendations?

Congrats to Lisa and Juliet in retaining their East Lothian Open Ladies Over 40s Doubles in a very tight all Borders final versus Toni and Suzanne.
Congrats also to Graeme K and his partner Alison Reid from Dunfermline on winning the Mixed Doubles Over 40s final versus Lisa and her partner Johnny Short from Hawick.
Well done Peebles champs!

Hope to see you all at our Social Tennis event tomorrow (Friday 17th July) from 6pm. Feel free to bring a few refreshments (drinks and snacks). Should be a nice way to start the weekend 🎾☀️🍹

Congrats to the Peebles High School Tennis Championship winners. The event was played on our courts recently and attracted a very large entry, great to see the courts being so well used!

And the winners were Colin and Sam! Well done both 🎉

Fun event at PLTC tomorrow at 1.30pm before we sit down to watch 2 weeks of Wimbledon 🎾🎾 Hope to see you all for strawberries & cream , pimms and some tennis.

We are holding a Wimbeldon-themed event on Sunday 28 June at 1.30pm.

All memebers are invited to look out their whites and come along for a fun afternoon of social tennis. We will play a doubles format, mixing patners as we go.

It wouldn't be Wimbeldon without strawberries, cream, and a glass of Pimm's, and it will be served aftwerwards for a small donation.
