🎾 Led by our Head of 10U Performance, Rob Gaunt, and his team of LTA-qualified coaching assistants.

This is the perfect introduction to tennis, with fun, engaging sessions designed specifically for Reception-aged children. Players will develop agility, balance, coordination and the fundamental skills of tennis in a friendly, supportive environment. Blue stage tennis has been the starting point for many club members who have gone onto great things, including some playing internationally!

Take a look at this photo from our 2014 Junior Awards Night! It's fantastic to see that so many of these players are still part of our tennis club today – now as young adults. Watching our juniors grow up through the club is something we're incredibly proud of.

📅 Save the date! Our 2026 Junior Club Championships & Awards Weekend will take place on 12th–13th September.

Junior members and parents, keep an eye out as entry forms will be released very soon.

The weekend will include:
🎾 Singles & doubles competitions for ages 8U–18U
🏆 A fun weekend both on and off the court
🎉 Our annual Awards Night on Sunday, where we'll present our championship trophies along with a range of special awards recognising sportsmanship, volunteering and outstanding contributions to the club.

This year's tournament is being coordinated by Ellie, and we'd love to hear from anyone willing to help over the weekend. If you can lend a hand, please drop us an email.

A reminder has also been sent to all of our 2025 legacy trophy winners. Please could you arrange to have your trophies engraved, cleaned, polished and returned by the end of term. Once the summer holidays begin, trophies can be difficult to track down, which makes preparations for Awards Night much more challenging.

We're really looking forward to another spectacular weekend of tennis and celebrations. More information will be shared soon via our junior parent email and WhatsApp channels.

Men’s 5ths (Chris & Tom, Jon & Alex, Rhodri & Huw) recorded a strong 5-1 home win over Cardiff 8ths on Monday to keep the pressure on at the top of the table. 🎾
Chris & Tom opened with a quick win, Huw & Rhodri beat Cardiff’s top pair, and Jon & Alex won a closer battle for a 3-0 lead at the turnaround.
Huw & Rhodri sealed the result before Chris & Tom completed a dominant evening with another win, dropping just four games across both rubbers. 💪
Cardiff took the final rubber, but Windsor ran out comfortable 5-1 winners.

Men’s 2nds. Home win 5-1 v David Lloyd Swansea. Braces for Charlie & Matt, Jamie & Tim D with Tom & Tim H just falling short in a championship tie break against their first pair. Important win today in our aim to retain our place in Prem2. 🎾👏

At 3-3, losing on countback 53-52 was agonising for the 6th’s away against Llantrisant on Sunday night.
Sweeney/Wilko impressed against the 1st pair before fading later. Miller/Pete B lost a thriller but beat the top pair, while Ollie C/Kenny bounced back from a heavy loss with a gutsy tiebreak win.
Great effort all round in a competitive and enjoyable evening. Next time, lads… 😁

The men’s 3rds secured a strong 5–1 victory over a competitive Rhiwbina side on Sunday evening. Despite delays and several court changes, the match proved hard-fought, featuring multiple set tie-breaks and two winning championship tie-breaks making it an excellent result in what could easily have been a much closer contest. A special mention goes to Guy and David Barker, who not only came through two tight rubbers but also rounded off the day with a superb post-match chilli and impressive washing-up skills respectively! The team was Darryl & Dan Pitt, Payney & Gaunty, and Guy & David Barker.

The ladies third team travelled to Swansea early Sunday morning and came away with a well deserved 4-2 win. All pairs picked up one rubber but super sub Beth and Catherine won both matches. The team today was Ali, Di, Jaqs, Sandra, Catherine and Beth 👏🏻

Windsor ladies 1st team faced undefeated Swansea LTC at home on Sunday.
Olivia and Siwan dropped only one game in their first match. Lowri and Michelle came back from a set down to win in a Championship tie break to beat the 2nd pair. Niamh and Rebecca struggled against the 3rd pair losing in straight sets making it 2-1 to Windsor after the first round.
Niamh and Rebecca pushed Swansea’s number one pair all the way before narrowly losing in a Championship Tie-Break making it 2-2. Siwan and Olivia won their second match in straight sets. A final closely fought match between Lowri and Michelle and Swansea’s 3rd pair went Swansea’s way making it 3-3 and all level on sets. On count back Windsor came out on top by 2 games. 51-49Swanseas first loss of the season and a big win for Windsor 💪🏼

The men’s 4ths went to Llantrisant Sunday afternoon , were lucky with the weather, and got a good 4-2 win 😊 Team: Rhodri, Ethan, Ceri, Coxy, Adrian, and Dyfri. After being behind 1-2 in rubbers after the first round , Windsor won the next 3 rubbers ; a special mention for Ade and Coxy for beating a difficult Llantrisant 1st pair on a 3rd set tie break👏. That’s 4 wins out of 4 for the 4ths, on equal points at the top of the table with also unbeaten Swansea T&SC 👍

Windsor Men’s 3rds enjoyed glorious summer conditions during their away fixture at Radyr on Saturday afternoon. Despite the match finishing in a 3–3 winning draw, Windsor delivered a dominant performance, with all three defeats coming narrowly in champions tie-breaks. Special thanks go to David Barker for stepping in at short notice to cover injury and well done to Darryl and Dan for bringing home two crucial wins to secure the tie. Windsor Mens 5ths had a good 5-1 win away at a very humid Abergavenny 2nds on Sunday afternoon. Ben & Bock got us off to a nice start with a convincing win to start.
Rhodri & Huw and Chris & Tom both came out on the right side of some 3rd set tie breaks against their 1sts & 2nds respectively....and both Windsor pairs then got the crucial results with convincing wins in their 2nd rubbers to claim a good away 5-1 win 👍🏻🎾👍🏻 Team from left to right:

Another impressive win for our Over-60s mixed team on Thursday by 4-0, at home to Cwmbran. Once again it was an enjoyable match, played in good spirits. Congratulations to our team of (L-R) Peter R (capt), Kay, Phil and Gwenda, who all performed well despite the heat, and without dropping a set between them.

The ladies’ 4th team came away from playing at Bridgend with a brilliant 6:0 win. It was a surprisingly hot afternoon on Saturday. Lots of good tennis was played by the team consisting of Gill, Andrea, Teca, Bettina, Ann and Gwenda followed by a delicious tea. 🌞

It was a local derby in the National League for the ladies on Friday evening, playing against Rectory Road. It was 2-2 after the singles round, but unfortunately the doubles didn’t go our way, with Rectory taking the 4-2 win. Much kudos to the 3 juniors who played (Nia, Medi and Poppy), who did the club proud, with their great shots, fighting spirit and fair play.
