🏆 Victor Ludorum 2026 – Congratulations Kayleigh!

Last night we held our Final Fling, bringing the 2026 Wednesday Social season to a close and announcing this year's Victor Ludorum champion – Kayleigh Anne Jones. 👏

The Victor Ludorum is our season-long Wednesday competition, with a 9-hole mixed Stableford played each week and results tracked throughout the season to determine the overall champion.

With 30+ players regularly taking part each week, it has become a real highlight of club life and one of our most popular competitions.

A huge thank you to Dave Malloy for sponsoring the competition, and to the award-winning Edwards of Conwy for supplying the Victor Ludorum pork pie. And, of course, a special thanks to Keith Duncan for all the work that goes into organising and managing the competition throughout the season, from running the weekly competitions to keeping track of all the results and statistics.

The season finished as it started, with good golf, good company, a few drinks and plenty of stories from the year. ⛳🍻

Congratulations Kayleigh, and well done to everyone who took part this season!

⛳ A fantastic first Seniors Open! ⛳

Yesterday we hosted our first ever Seniors Open at Penmaenmawr Golf Club, with an incredible 111 golfers taking part.

The course and clubhouse were buzzing throughout the day, and we're delighted with how the event went. A huge thank you to everyone who travelled to join us, along with our members and volunteers who helped make the day such a success.

There were also 13 two’s during the day, with three golf balls awarded for each. 🎯

⛳ A Huge Thank You from Penmaenmawr Golf Club 💚

What a fantastic Captain's Day!

It was brilliant to see the club buzzing from morning through to the evening, with over 100 members taking part in a sell-out event. The golf, food, entertainment and atmosphere made for a memorable day, but most importantly, we came together to support a truly worthwhile cause.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, we're delighted to share that £2,140 was raised for STAND NW, helping children across North Wales with disabilities and speech, language and communication needs.

A huge thank you to our Captain, Wayne Parry, whose passion and dedication made the day possible, and to everyone who volunteered, donated, played, attended and supported the event in any way.

Events like this show what our club is all about. Thank you for helping make it such a memorable day. 💚
