A good turnout for the penultimate evening cruiser race of the season, with by all accounts some close racing as the daylight drew in.
One more evening and a couple of weekend races left to go before lift out.

This thursday 20th for one night only our galley will be staffed by the legendary combination of mr john “D’Acampo”barnes and mr adam “Ramsey”coleman, who plan to offer a three course meal with a multitude of locally grown ingredients.
This is a once a year event, so almost as rare as the recent eclipse!
A feast not to be missed by club members and their guests!

It has been a busy weekend for the club, the cruisers have had their annual visit to porthleven harbour, sailing out on Saturday staying in the harbour overnight and a return sail on sunday. A couple of nice meals and drinks in two pubs made it a lovely social gathering.
Meanwhile on sunday an informal fun sail was organized for the dinghy sailors, who sailed to lamorna cove accompanied by a cruiser and back home via mousehole to see the annual punt race.
Great to see lots of boats on the water and everyone taking full advantage of some lovely weather.

During the last few days one of our racing marks has disappeared from its position near the gear pole, as the recent winds have been mainly easterly this may get washed up near to newlyn or moushole but could be anywhwere in mounts bay, please keep an eye out for a yellow drum shaped buoy approx two feet in diameter, contact the club if found, thanks.
