2026, the year that everything changed.
The year the ground shifted beneath me in ways I hadn’t quite anticipated.
A new home. A new job. The ending of a relationship that had been part of my life for 16 years. New people, new places, new conversations. A different rhythm. A different version of ordinary.
The year I found myself in that strange space between who I had been and who I’m becoming.
Learning how to be alone. Learning how to let people in. Learning that community and solitude aren’t opposites, but both things we need. Learning that life can feel completely unfamiliar and still be full of possibility.
There has been overwhelm. There has been grief. There has been excitement, curiosity, laughter and a surprising amount of beauty.
Not everything has made sense.
Not everything has been easy.
But so much has been real.
And perhaps that’s what this year has given me most: a reminder that a life can change shape entirely, and you can still find your footing within it.
2026, the year that everything changed.
And I’m still discovering what that means. 🤍
