A brilliant turnout at adult training last night with 22 players on the rink – a great mix of beginners, teenagers, and experienced players. 💪

It’s a fantastic start to the season and shows the strength of our growth, as well as our commitment to developing floorball in the local community.

First pre season games of Season 25/26 in the bag! These games were a great opportunity for some of our new players and U18’s to get a taste of competitive action.

Today we hosted Perth Panthers Floorball Club and Perth Parrots Floorball Club for some friendly games, all teams took the opportunity to play some new players with Panthers and Fife playing some u18s

We’re proud to announce the return of two pillars of the Perth Panthers:

👑 Captain Adi Moffat ( #12, Forward) – Back leading from the front after recovering from a dislocated knee. His drive, experience, and relentless work rate continue to set the tone for the squad.

💪 Assistant Captain Steve Strang ( #33, Defence) – A defensive rock and a voice of leadership in the dressing room. Steve has been with the Panthers since day one and is proudly sponsored this season by Indigo Sun Tanning Salon.

Both Adi and Steve not only lead on the rink but also play a huge role in developing the next generation through our youth sessions. Their commitment to the club and community is unmatched.

Perth Panthers are delighted to confirm the return of two of our long serving Latvian stalwarts – Assistant Captains Kristaps Ilmers ( #99, Forward) and Lenny Jaunpetrovics ( #70, Defence).

Both have been at the heart of the club since year 1, bringing passion, leadership, and relentless commitment on and off the rink. Their influence in the dressing room is as strong as their impact in games, and we’re proud to see them lead from the front once again this season.

We’re pleased to announce Stephen Ward as our new Head Coach.

Stephen has been part of the Panthers for 18 months and quickly became a big part of the club. From day one he’s bought into our values and community spirit, bringing experience, passion and reliability that will help the club grow and keep training sharp and enjoyable.

With Stephen leading the way, we’re confident the team will keep moving forward.

🎉 Big day for Kye 🎉

Not only is he celebrating his birthday today 🥳, but we’re also buzzing to confirm he’s signed on again for the 2025/26 season!

Kye joined us halfway through last year and made a big impact before a knee injury cut things short. He’s working hard on his recovery and hopes to be back later this season 💪

In true Panthers style, we’ve dug out this absolute classic throwback to mark the occasion… you’re welcome and nice sunnys, Kye 😎

Our MVP from 24/25, Bernard “Berny” Jakobsson ( #57), is officially returning for the 25/26 season! 🧡🖤

Berny has been a huge part of the Panthers’ success, bringing leadership, grit and a knack for big goals when it matters most. The squad just got stronger. 💪

Right by the side of our is our - we are super excited to be taking two squads this year allowing us to share in the fun with our floorball family.

Thanks to Mark, Craig, Jordan and Alan who represented us at this weekends referee training at UHI Perth.

An impressive 17 volunteers from clubs across Scotland converged UHI Perth Academy of Sport & Wellbeing and participated in day 1 of and a two day floorball refereeing course.

We are working hard as a to lift our collective skills, knowledge and understanding of the rules our sport and refereeing and we know that the legacy of this course will send positve ripples across the Scottish Floorball League for many years to come.

Massive thanks to Joonas Kolkka from Salibandy.fi for his delivery of the referee training and to our gang of volunteers from Fife Floorball Club Hawick Hawks Floorball Club Kites Floorball Club Perth Panthers Floorball Club Perth Parrots Floorball Club for there time and effort today. Tomorrow we put what we have learned into practice at the 3v3 Tournament 2025.
