After a long break our season has finally started.

We hosted Jeanfield Swifts 2015s today at home and had an evenly contested game.

Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

If you would like to join our team, we are currently hiring an Estimator/QS with Shopfitting & Commercial Fit Out experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established & successful Main Contractor, working from our base in Dundee, Scotland.
Taking commercial responsibility for projects from tender to final account, you will be involved in a number of contracts through major retail, leisure, and banking sectors . The role will be instrumental in paving the way for delivering success on our already full order book.

Key Skills and Requirements:
• Proven track record as a Estimator / Quality Surveyor in a fit-out/shopfitting environment
• Ability to work well under pressure as both an individual and as part of a team
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Subcontract orders and payments
• Client liaison
• Purchasing
• Pricing a range of projects
As the company maintain a healthy order book there is plenty of progression and succession opportunities for suitable candidates. Ideal candidates will be looking not just for ‘another role,’ but want to prove themselves, make it their own, and play an integral part of the company throughout future projects. We have a very low staff turnover and are looking to invest in employees for the future success of the organisation.

Shopfitting Joiners

Due to a strong pipeline of works, Primero Contracts Ltd are pursuing additional shopfitting Joiners with experience in Commercial Fit Out. Operating from our base in Dundee, Scotland the projects will be mainly in Scotland and Northern England serving the retail commercial fit out market. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established and successful contractor in their specialist sectors.

To be considered for this position you must be / have:
• Flexible and willing to travel
•You will be capable of working within a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work weekends
• A sound knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
• 5+ Years’ experience (preferably shopfitting)
• Self-motivation
• Hold a valid / clean driving licence
• Sound time management

The successful applicant will be reporting to our Operations Manager / Contracts Manager.
The package for the successful candidates will include a competitive rate, company vehicle and mobile phone.
