I often get asked what the walk to Newtyle from Spittalfield is like and I have now done it and it is a good challenging andulating walk. Lovely views and countryside. Almost 10 miles round trip to Newtyle and did come back the same way but there are other routes back to Spittalfield. Farm tracks most of the way except from the end of culthill track to Craigend, people can go the wrong way here, walk on the Clunie road for half mile to Craigend. Remember if the Walkin'cafe is open there is lots of parking at the back of the bowling club. Goodluck and enjoy this walk, maps can be borrowed from the Cafe. Will Open when restrictions allow ππ
