Look at these ADORABLE donkeys we met during our evening walk the other night. I have always loved donkeys, hence my Christmas card last year.

The The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum has a great exhibition on just now. Curtain Call: Costumes from Stage and Screen showcases costume designers associated with Dundee. Some stunning artwork and beautifully made clothing on display. The McManus is free, and has lots of other exhibitions suitable for husbands/kids who have no interest in costume design!

Anstruther and the Caves of Caiplie looking glorious in the spring sunshine. This part of the coastline in the East of Scotland is just beautiful.

Over the Easter holidays, I loved hosting a workshop for the neighbours kids. We all get together each set of holidays and do an activity together. As ever, I'm gobbling up podcasts - this one is brilliant, and for luddites like me, does a good job of explaining AI, alongside presenting fascinating and frightening examples of how the 'truth' is presented to us nowadays.

While I think there is a place for digital art, I love the rich colours produced by oil inks, and the textures created by lifting these inks onto paper from a woodcut. Look at the difference between my original digital image of a parakeet, and the final two colour ink print on paper.
