P&K County Ladies and Girls Golf

WELL DONE STELLA !
Congratulations to P&K Junior & Squad Member Stella Walters (Blairgowrie) who won the Junior Tour Girls Event at Alyth at the weekend with a 9 under par overall score, including a course record 64 in her 3rd round . Keeping it in the family, her brother Fraser won the Boys Event.

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS - FINAL RESULTS

A slightly less cold afternoon saw both Scratch and Handicap Finals closely contested. The winner of the AK Bell Rosebowl and 2026 P&K County Champion is Katy Alexander (Blairgowrie) with Jen Saxton (Dunfermline) as Runner-up.

The winner of the Gibb Trophy and 2026 Handicap Champion is Valerie Purdie (Auchterarder) with Christine Kinloch (Kinross) as Runner-up.

Congratulations to all the players who took part in the matchplays and many thanks to Auchterarder Golf Club for courtesy of the course this weekend.

RESULTS FROM QUARTER FINALS OF COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK🤍

After another lovely day at Auchterarder, where the weather gods shone upon us, here are the results from today's Quarterfinals and tomorrow's semi-final line-ups. Spectators are welcome to come along to support the ladies - please do come and show some support!

COMMONWEALTH SPOONS - BLAIR ATHOLL

The next fixture in our calendar is the Commonwealth Spoons at Blair Atholl on Thursday 28th May 2026. This is a foursomes competition and a Qualifier for the Commonwealth Spoons Final run by Scottish Golf with the National Final being played at Thornton GC, Fife on 7th September.

If you fancy a game of Foursomes (alternate shot), grab a partner and fill out the entry form by clicking on the link below. The entry fee is £20 per couple. Closing date Monday 18th May.

It was a busy day at Auchterarder with 49 ladies playing - mostly in sunshine, but unlucky for some who caught a few showers of rain.

Entries are now open for the North of Scotland Championships at Banchory 27 - 29 July 2026 hosted by Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Assoc.
