Kirsty visiting the Meikleour Arms booked a days salmon fishing to "try something different” and has caught a superb 17lb’er from the House Pool!

A sizeable lift in the water overnight with it currently sitting at 2’ 3” on our gauge. A bit of colour in it, but Craig started the day off well with this fine 10lb’er.

Davie with a lovely 12lb’er this afternoon. Happy to see the water settling and clearing a bit after the wee lift a couple of days ago.

A wee lift of 9” overnight and a good start to the day with a lovely 13lb’er from the Castle Pool for Gerrard and another fish lost first cast in the Boxwood Bush.

Malcolm again with another beautiful fish this afternoon.

Malcolm’s pal Dirk with a very strong 17lb’er which led us a right merry dance before coming to the net. The quality of fish at the moment is superb. Size 10 Aurora Cascade the winning fly.
