New sail systems just ordered, one for the USA and several sent in U.K., great news that they are popular for Kayak Sailing.

NEW DESIGN. We have just announced a new design of KCS Mark 6 Expedition Trolley to fit all ROCKPOOL KAYAKS with the round hatch. The pads which the kayak sits on have been redesigned for the Rockpool to fit in through the hatch. The Trolley comes complete with 8" pneumatic tyres. It is made from the same indestructible material as are all our products. Strong to take the weight of more than a fully laden double sea kayak over the roughest terrain on long portages. Our trolleys have survived for over 20 years in use and none have ever broken or been damaged on the most arduous terrain with fully laden kayaks

Another delivery of KCS Mark 6 Expedition Trolleys and our new KCS PRO SAIL SYSTEMS to SEA KAYAK OBAN. We have also set up a display of our Sail System in the show room. The test is highly positive and our new System has passed with flying colours. We will have it on our website with the costs and are offering four variations giving everyone the right option that suits them.

Our new KY - PRO SAIL SYSTEMS is now out being tested by Douglas Wilcox the feedback from him is very good to date in winds from force2/3 to force5. We have just about finished our new attachment for the front hatch the system is designed that you don't have to drill your expensive sea kayak. It comes with a Carbon Fibre mast, boom and special hatch cover for the stays and mast foot. He will get this later next week to start serious testing.

This is the third trailer we have fitted out in the last 10 days for coaches and guides. We are very busy with orders on the website and more companies coming to us asking if they can stock our products. As we were the first company to manufacture J - Cradles from polypropylene and none have ever flattened off from their original shape we are now offering a LIFETIME WARRANTY that they will never loose their original shape. We are also the only manufacturer of J Cradles who bend our shape using a scientific bending operation to retain the shape so they will never flatten off.
Our first Cradles made more than 20 + years ago and were designed to take the shock away from your valuable sea kayak while being transported, and many of these are still being used to this day.
We do not recommend keeping straps on your cradles when not in use as the UV light will degrade the straps and many straps on the market are not UV protected. Ours also do not need any extra supports to keep their shape. Here are some images of our superior J Cradles which have been copied in shape only!

Ky- Compact Day Trolley Just finished some more work on this Trolley creating some more variations in the design to accommodate more hull shapes on Sea Kayaks. Here are some images of the variations to fit different sea kayaks. The last one we have just finished and been delivered to a customer is for the Pace Tiderace.

With the Covid Pandemic we have been holding back our expansion plans for Kayak Carrier Systems, last year saw our busiest year and we are still working hard to supply orders. We would like to give a big thank you to all our customers who have been loyal to us ordering all our products from Trolleys to Cradles to everything else in our range we have also been busy with repeat orders from existing customers who come back time after time. We are just introducing new products mostly Trolleys and one or two other items still on hold while we wait for lockdown to be released as the independent testers are stuck unable to test our new products which we want tested before releasing them on to the market. Here are a couple of more images of what we have just released.

Another two new products now out on the market our KY - DOK Paddle Park with a GRO - PRO attachment plus a new FLAT PACK TROLLEY my son designed this round the thought ' Whats the last item in the Kayak and first out !' This Trolley goes flat pack on top of all your gear in the Hatch, just the wheels to find a space for either on the deck or beyond your foot pegs. If like me you really do go on an extended trip and have little room left for a trolley, this one does fit in very little space, it's also strong and takes the weight of a fully laden Kayak over rough terrain. Made from the same material as our tried and tested MARK 5 Expedition Trolley.
Other new products are designed and ready for independent testing.

Hi, Here is an image of another batch of 10 KY-EX Mark 5 Expedition Trolleys delivered to Sea Kayak Oban and a further 4 were sent direct to their customers. This is the 4th delivery this year of KY-EX Trolleys plus 10 KY- Compact Trolleys and other products. I would like to give Sea Kayak Oban a big THANK YOU for the support they have given us over the last two years. Mark and Laura are doing fantastic work for the sea kayaking community and I can strongly recommend everyone to support this well organised independent company wither you want to escape on an extended trip, day coaching or just browse in the shop which is well stocked with all the gear you will require.
