Exciting times for Oundle Town Football Club as they shared plans this morning with the general public for their proposed new community clubhouse in advance of submitting for Planning Permission to North Northamptonshire Council. First game yesterday for the Oundle U8 Zebras! ⚽️🦓

A hard-fought battle against a very well-organized March FC side. The girls were brilliant from start to finish, shutting out the opposition with an impressive clean sheet!

It’s the ideal start to give them heaps of confidence as they take on the combined U8 & U9 Girls league this season.

U8 Lions started the league season with a BANG this morning! Some really impressive team play, building on what they’ve been doing in training lately.

Great movement, passing and finishing on show.

Well done boys! Your coaches and parents are really proud of you!

Fantastic start to the season with the U14 Girls, kicking off with a brilliant 3–2 win! ⚽❤️

Moving up to 11-a-side brings a bigger pitch, bigger goals, and fresh positions to master. It’s a whole new challenge, but the squad adapted brilliantly today.

Despite the warm weather and extra ground to cover, the girls showed fantastic composure playing out from the back, controlled the tempo, and pieced together some lovely football - stretching the play with crisp short passes and well-timed through balls. They worked relentlessly right to the final whistle and were unlucky not to add a few more to the tally.

To top off a great day, we also celebrated the squad being awarded the President’s Cup in recognition of their league success last season, as well as their outstanding attitude and team spirit.

Coach Matt said, “They are incredible ambassadors for girls’ football and a joy to coach. So proud of every single one of them. On to the next!” 👏🔥

We are getting closer to an exciting milestone for Oundle Town FC: the formal submission of our planning application!

We want to share the latest proposals with our whole community. Players, parents, coaches and local supporters are invited to come by, view the proposed designs and chat with us about the project.
