UNDER 16’S | MONTESILVANO FUTSAL CUP 🇮🇹🧡🖤

Stepping up into the Under 17 category, these boys produced some of the best futsal we’ve seen from them all season. Fresh from lifting the England Futsal Cup, they continue to go from strength to strength and proved they can compete against some of the best teams around.

After finishing 3rd in a hugely competitive group, they went on to win the Silver Cup, finishing 9th overall. It could have been so different too two group games slipped away after leading 3-1, with both ending in heartbreaking 4-3 defeats in the dying seconds.

A huge congratulations to asd ARDEA Calcio a 5 , who came through our group and went on to lift the tournament trophy. It shows just how competitive this group really was.

This tour wasn’t just about what happened on the court.

These boys became role models for our Under 9s throughout the week. Watching the younger players proudly walk out as mascots, spend time with them around the pool, and celebrate together at the closing ceremony showed exactly what our club is about. Seeing the older boys take the time to inspire the next generation was something special.

What a way to bring their youth futsal journey to a close… or is it? 👀

Now the journey continues. Youth futsal may be coming to an end, but the next chapter is only just beginning with Under 18s and senior futsal.

The tours don’t stop here either… plans for 2027 are already underway. 👀✈️

UNDER 14 - SUMMER FUTSAL CUP - INFANTIL CATEGORY

What a fantastic tour with this group! Cutting it fine to get a squad together is an understatement, but as always the COPFC family came to the rescue! A mixture of age groups and training groups pulled together and had 1 90min training session together. Despite this they delivered topping their group with 3 wins from 3 then a comprehensive 6-2 win in the Q/F was it coming home? Sadly the S/F proved to be the end. Injuries meant we went into the game with only 4 fit players and despite leading 1-0 for the majority of the 1st half they ran out of steam. Winning isn’t everything and the way this team battled to the end was a credit to them and left me as a very proud coach. A real credit to the club and their families on and off the court. Helping and supporting the younger teams was a real highlight 🧡

UNDER 12’S ORANGE & BLACKS - THE SUMMER FUTSAL CUP - ALEVIN CATEGORY

Summer Tour 2026

Well, what a tournament this was for both U12 Oranges & U12 Blacks. We had the privilege of being able to field two fantastic futsal squads at this age and they both delivered amazing performances vs top Spanish futsal opposition. Two group wins for either side see U12 Oranges & U12 Blacks finish second in their groups, setting up semi final games vs Guadalajara for the Oranges and Rivas for the Blacks. Both encounters were fiercely contested and some of the futsal from COPFC and the opposition was seeing to believe, it really was top drawer futsal. Unfortunately the U12 Oranges lost 4-2 in their semi final and the U12 Blacks lost 3-2 in their semi final. Despite the losses, so close to an all COPFC final which in hindsight was probably deserved, we are extremely proud of the U12s and they should all be equally as proud of themselves.

U10 ORANGES - THE SUMMER FUTSAL CUP - BENJAMIN CATEGORY

An incredible tournament from start to finish for this fantastic group of young players! 👏⚽

Drawn into a really tough group, the team produced some outstanding futsal throughout the competition, finishing top with confident, exciting performances that showcased their quality, teamwork and determination.

They carried that momentum into the semi-final, completely dominating the game to book their place in the final. And after seeing three finals across previous international tournaments decided by penalty shootouts, this group made sure there would be no drama this time, producing a superb performance to win the final in normal time and lift the trophy! 🏆🥇

While the futsal on the court was exceptional, what made this group even more special was the way they represented themselves away from the games. Their behaviour, attitude and togetherness throughout the trip were first class, making everyone at the club incredibly proud.

An unforgettable experience, brilliant memories made, and a well-deserved trophy to bring home. Well done, team!

UNDER 10 BLACKS - THE SUMMER FUTSAL CUP - BENJAMIN CATEGORY

Made up of players from three different training squads and having only played three games together before the tour, the U10 Blacks exceeded all expectations! 💪⚽
From the first game, the team showed incredible bonds on and off the court, topping their group and reaching the semi-finals. After taking an early 2–0 lead against a strong Spanish side, they battled until the very end but narrowly missed out on a place in the final.
Every player should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. This tour wasn’t just about futsal—it was about creating memories, building friendships, and representing the club with pride. 🧡🖤👏

UNDER 8 - THE SUMMER FUTSAL CUP - PRE BENJAMIN 🇪🇸

Our Under 8s had an incredible tournament in Spain, showing fantastic skill, resilience, and teamwork throughout. They started in style with a convincing opening victory, responded brilliantly after a tough 3–0 defeat in their second game, and bounced back with another emphatic win to reach the final. Throughout the tournament, the players showed outstanding character both on and off the court, representing the club with pride, respect, and sportsmanship. They also thrived on the support and encouragement from the older boys, which gave them an extra boost throughout the tournament. Although they were beaten in the final by a well-organised team, they should be immensely proud of everything they achieved, especially at such a young age. It was a tournament full of great futsal, unforgettable moments, and memories that will stay with the players, coaches, and families for years to come. 🧡 🇪🇸
