1642 Field Sports is now closed

As we hit the 12 month anniversary period of being forced to cease trading at Sacrewell, followed by several weeks of hostility and barriers to a smooth exit, imagine our surprise to see what appeared to be some of our purpose designed and self built shelters in the background of Sacrewell's Euro 24 prediction videos on Facebook.

On closer inspection, several of our assets have indeed been relocated, redesigned and repurposed by Sacrewell without permission being sort or given. A strange turn of events when they declined the opportunity to aquire them last summer, stating that they had neither need nor want of them.

Our fact finding visit was met by instant hostility, unnecessary agression and threats of Police attendance. We are now banned from site apparently, thus making retrieving our property close to impossible. Notwithstanding, the unauthorised modifications made have rendered our shelters totally unusable for our previous purposes.

It breaks our hearts to experience first hand the rapid decline of what was once, and could still be, a beautiful and tranquil visitor attraction. Significant change is desperately required before the decline is too deep to reverse.

The weather for Monday isn't looking particularly great , why not book the children onto the craft session , it's being held in the countryside centre . The children can make lots of crafts and we will be trying our hand at making different paper aeroplanes and seeing how far they can fly.
