Another school. Another opportunity to make a difference. 💚
We're delighted to be welcoming families at Welbourn Primary School from September after being appointed to deliver their Wraparound Care provision.
For us, Wraparound Care has never simply been about providing childcare before and after school.
It's about creating a place where children feel safe, valued and excited to start and finish their day.
A place where they can build friendships, discover new interests, be active, be creative and, most importantly, simply be themselves.
We're incredibly grateful to Welbourn Primary School for placing their trust in EcoCoach, and we're looking forward to working alongside the staff, children and families to build something really special.
September can't come soon enough.
💚 Every child seen. Every child supported.

Not every child wants the same thing.
Some children spent this week designing bug hotels and bird houses.
Some challenged friends to chess matches.
Some were happiest making bracelets.
Others simply wanted to cool off with homemade fruit lollies before heading outside to run, play and explore.
That's exactly how we think Wraparound Care should feel.
Not a timetable where every child does the same activity.
A space where children can follow their interests, build friendships, discover new hobbies and simply enjoy being children after a busy day at school.
Looking through this week's photos, it's easy to see that no two children experienced the week in quite the same way.
And that's something we're incredibly proud of.
💚 Every child seen.
💚 Every child supported.

CONFIDENCE. LOOKS DIFFERENT.
One of the things we love most about Wraparound Care is that confidence doesn't always look the way people expect.
For some children, it's standing on a stage and performing.
For others, it's reading aloud for the first time, trying a new activity, making a bracelet for a friend or simply joining in with a game.
This week we've celebrated all of those moments.
Alongside continuing our EcoCoach World Cup, the children have enjoyed book-inspired arts and crafts, bracelet making, loom bands, water play, hockey, golf, imaginative play and outdoor games whenever the weather allowed.
We were especially proud of our Year 5 and Year 6 children who performed at Stamford College, and of our Year 3 readers, who have shown fantastic enthusiasm and confidence throughout the week.
Thank you to all parents for continuing to send children with hats, named water bottles and sun cream during the warmer weather.
We can't wait to do it all again next week.

SUMMER. THEY STILL PLAY.
The recent heatwave has certainly tested us, but one thing hasn't changed—children still want to play.
Last week at EcoCoach Wraparound Care we've adapted our provision to make the most of the weather. We've taken activities indoors during the hottest parts of the day, made use of shaded outdoor spaces when it was cooler and made sure plenty of water play helped everyone stay cool.
Alongside that we've had a fantastic week of World Cup activities, arts and crafts, loom band competitions, role play, gymnastics, hockey, football, running games, outdoor performances and even celebrated National Picnic Day together.
One thing we always try to remember is that no two children enjoy the same things. Some headed straight for sport. Others immersed themselves in creative play. Our role isn't to make every child enjoy the same activity—it's to create an environment where every child finds something they enjoy.
A huge thank you to parents for ensuring children arrived with hats, water bottles and sun cream during the warmer weather. It really does make a difference.
We're looking forward to another week full of movement, creativity and plenty of summer adventures.

Every child deserves a summer they can look forward to.
At EcoCoach, we know children enjoy different things. Some head straight for sport. Others disappear into arts and crafts. Some spend hours building dens, taking part in Nerf battles or getting soaked in water games.
That's why we don't build our camps around one activity or one timetable. We build them around choice.
This summer we're running camps at:
📍 Hawthorn Primary School, Kettering
📍 Spinney Primary School, Cherry Hinton
**HAF Places (Hawthorn)**
Children eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals may be entitled to funded places through the HAF programme.
**Paid Places (Spinney & Hawthorn)**
Bookings are also open for families booking directly, with our **17% Early Bird discount ending on 1st July.**

Bookings have now opened for our Hawthorn Summer Activity Camp through the HAF programme.
One thing we've learned over the years is that children don't all enjoy the same things.
Some will spend the whole day playing sport.
Some will disappear into arts and crafts.
Some will build dens, take part in Nerf battles or throw themselves into water games.
That's why our camps don't revolve around a rigid timetable where every child is expected to enjoy the same activity at the same time.
We build our camps around choice, movement and opportunities for children to explore what interests them.
If your child receives benefits-related Free School Meals, they may be eligible for a funded place through HAF.

A new chapter for EcoCoach CIC.
Today we began delivering within two Bright Bambini Montessori nursery settings in Peterborough (Bright Bambini Montessori Eastfield & Bright Bambini Montessori -Day Nursery), supporting children through movement, physical development and positive early experiences of being active.
We're incredibly grateful for the trust placed in us by the Bright Bambini team and look forward to building a strong and professional partnership together.
The foundations for lifelong physical activity are often built long before children reach primary school, which is why we're excited to continue expanding our work within early years settings.
If you're a nursery looking to enhance your physical development offer, we'd be happy to have a conversation.

Not every child needs more support.
Sometimes they need the right support.
Across our Alternative Provision, PE and wraparound settings, one thing we see repeatedly is that children often engage differently when expectations are clear, relationships are consistent and movement is part of the environment.
The challenge isn't always motivation.
Sometimes it's creating an environment where children feel able to succeed.

After-school clubs back in full swing again this week 👇
From team games and challenges to movement-based activities, it's been great seeing children reconnect with friends, build confidence and get active again after half-term.
Sometimes the biggest win isn't the activity itself.
It's seeing children walk into a session smiling and wanting to join in.
