A bit of a backstory - I actually started following the Lightning after one of the players we had on the podcast last year made the move over there. Zach is not only a fantastic player but a genuinely great guy, so I thought I’d tune in and see how they were getting on.
Safe to say, I don’t regret it one bit. If you’ve never watched the AIHL, and the Lightning in particular, you’re missing out. They play an exciting brand of hockey, score plenty of goals, and every game seems to be entertaining! 🙌
It’s been brilliant getting to follow the team from afar, so to receive something like this is incredibly special. Thanks again to everyone at the Brisbane Lightning for the support - it really is appreciated. 🙏
