Congrats to everyone who took part in our epic 2025 Club Champs. Whether you played, won, lost or just watched - we're proud of our Peterborough Squash & Racketball family! 🎉
Massive thanks to everyone who came down today. We hope you had fun challenging our club champ, playing on free courts and donating to a good cause. had an ambitious goal to reach £10,000 for by 2025...we hope they achieved it. Thanks to all of you.

To most players, a “nick” is just magic — the ball hits the corner, rolls along the floor, and the rally ends. But behind that moment is a beautiful bit of physics.
Researchers at Brown University recently revealed why the nick shot works. When a ball rolls down the wall and touches the floor at just the right moment, the forces from the wall and floor cancel each other out. The result? The ball stops bouncing. It simply… dies.
🎓 They call it “mechanical frustration” — two opposing forces locking the ball in place.
