CATC Pickleball Club

Huge congratulations to our very own Mark & Becky for winning Gold in the 50+ 3.5 team event at Basingstoke 🎉 👏👏. They played 14 games in total and only lost 4 (In pic Mark is on the left & Becky is on the right.🤠

Well over 10 CATC Pickleballs went to the Nottingham pickleball tournament over the weekend, playing doubles. We all had great games but sadly only 3 of us meddled. How does that work out you ask? well mark stood in for someone else from another club and got SILVER!!

But Liz & Tracy battled it out to the end and got a very well deserved Bronze in the Ladies doubles 3.0 75yrs plus (data supplied by Jonny 🙃) it had to go to 3 ends but the pair that wanted it most got it!!!! great match to watch and support!! AND shout from the Rafters 📣📣📢📢

Well, Well 11 of us Picklers played yesterday at the Ipswich & East Anglia Winter Pickleball UK Championships (Mixed and Gender Doubles)..... AND guess what? We walked away with 3 GOLD's / 2 SILVER's / 1 BRONZE !!!! Great day and loved the camaraderie ❤️ 🤠

Sadly we are saying good bye to one of our own. TEXAS TIM THE MARINE "The Whacker". He is being called back to duty in the States. You will be missed Tim, but never forgotten. Love from your Pickleball family in England. Confident one day we will see you across the court again... until then a few pics of your send off:
