Bourne Deeping Hockey Club

Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.00pm Stamford Junior School pitches Open to all players aged 12+ £5 per session

Just a reminder that Summer Hockey starts this Thursday (7th May) at Stamford Junior School. Sessions will run slightly later this year, from 19:30–21:00.

We’re currently booked in for 6 weeks of training, running through to mid-June, with the possibility of extending if there’s enough demand.

There will be an option to pay for all 6 sessions for the price of 5 on Pitchero or you can pay £5 per session. Usual format, mix everybody up, pick teams at random, and play some 7-a-side.

This is open to everyone aged 12+ who is eligible to play league hockey.

What hockey can bring…. a group of guys of all ages together from across the county and beyond. What a pleasure and honour it was to have our first hockey charity game.

Players from Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire and further a field joined together to form a Talk Stick Team against Stamford.

This shows the strength and united front hockey can bring. Togetherness on the pitch and by what Talk Stick stands for. Our wonderful game, bringing everyone together.

A huge thanks to our hosts Stamford School . The game was played in fantastic spirits with Talk Stick winning the game 6-2. The result is not the important part. Raising awareness for Talk Stick, continuing to fund raise and awareness of the support for males to know that we don’t want to lose any of our brothers 🧡

Unbeaten streak continues! Bourne Deeping Men’s 2nd Team draws 2-2 against March HC, solidifying promotion with an impressive 17 wins, 5 draws, and 81 goals scored!

Our ladies' teams didn't disappoint, securing 3 points each this week! Wins over City of Peterborough and Long Sutton. One more week to go!

Two big wins for the Men’s 1s 💪

A 6–2 and 8–2 victory (pictured above) have helped push BDHC Men’s 1s up to 3rd place in the league after a challenging start to the season with several injuries.

All eyes now turn to the final game of the season this Saturday, away to Wisbech. 🔥

After a 2-0 victory at home, and beneficial results elsewhere in the league, the Men’s 2’s secure promotion!!! 🎉🎉🍻
