A huge thank you to everyone who entered our texas scramble open today, our first open of the season. The weather forecast wasnt looking in our favour for a while, but thankfully with only a few light showers early afternoon, there was loads of great golf played. We hope you all enjoyed your day as much as we did. Below is a list of all todays winners. Congratulations to you all.

A seriously busy day at Longside today 💪

The greenkeeping team have put in a huge shift over the last few months getting the course in top shape for this years season. Today’s focus was on installing new drainage and carrying out some much-needed improvements on the 4th fairway.

As you can see, the work is already making an immediate difference in moving the water. With a bit of luck, over the next couple of days all their hard work will really start to pay off 👏🌱

Also pictured are our new purchases for this season: on the left, our new greens mower, and on the right, our new zero-turn deck mower. These new machines will make the greenkeeping staff’s jobs that bit easier throughout the season and help keep the course at its very best.
