Easington Lane 6-0 Easington Welfare

Bare bones on Sunday but no excuses beaten by the better team, 0-0 at half time then shipped in 6 second half. We are away to South Hetton on Sunday.

Easington Welfare 2-2 Easington Colliery Welfare

Derby day proved a good match with us being the better team first half, Dan Lumsden put us 1-0 up with another header.
Second half ECW controlled the second half and went 2-1 up with 2 goals from James Watson. ECW had several chances to kill the game off but couldn’t score. Time wasting from their keeper Griff aka EMI MARTINEZ proved pivotal as Dan lumsden grabbed a stoppage time equaliser. First team to take points off them in the league this season.

Easington Welfare 2-3 Shotton Comrades

Beaten 3-2 in the semi final, went 1-0 up through a great strike from Jay Nicholson before shotton equalised through a free kick, 1-1 at half time. Second half 2 defensive mistakes within 10 mins put us 3-1 down then a red card was given to Daz. Anth Cowie made it 3-2 from the spot. Podge hit the bar late on but we couldn’t find an equaliser.
