The boys were very unlucky today away to Hebburn Town Golds and on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat.

Where to start with this one, not a great morning for the lads.

2 sendings off, 1 sin bin. A blatant offside goal for the oppostion and then a ball to hand handball penalty 🤦‍♀️

Anyway, we had some brilliant moments in the game. Some lovely one and two touch football played and had we had a full 11 it would have been a different outcome for us.

Some really good performances today, a team that win together and lose together. Even when the going gets tough, they dig in and have each other's backs and that's all that we can ask. Grit, determination and teamwork.

Ultimately we didn't have enough to win the game but definitely didn’t deserve to lose it but that's football!

Opppsition keeper kicks it straight to Ethan, who uses the extra pass and Sonny hits the post - it’s all the Green Army at the moment

Brandon with a long free kick, Issac shows great awareness covers and clears with the Brandon striker looking to put in the empty net

Alfie gets his hands to a high cross and its cleared off the line by Josh

Half Time, 1-0 to Easington and it should be more

Brandon with a fierce long range strike and Maddo gets down and pushes away from goal with a strong hands

Riley takes a well earned breather, he has put him self about and got through the miles - on comes Cruz

Great football - a long kick from Alfie well taken down by Josh, a delightful ball to Zach Bliss who plays in Lucas and the keeper makes a great save!

Brandon respond by hitting the post and its cleared by Tyler

Aidan comes off after a midfield dominating display and Zach Brown comes into left wing with Sonny moving to centre mid

Should be three as a long ball from Issac sets Lucas away his cross is met by Josh Hunt but the keeper saves

The lads travelled to Brandon this morning and came away with a well deserved 3 points.

Brilliant from the lads, a solid performance by all. We controlled the game for the majority.

Much better pressing from the team today, which made controlling the game loads easier.

A great 3 points and a clean sheet for Alfie 👏

🏆MOTM could of went to a number of the boys today, really mean that as all of the lads put in a brilliant performance. We went with Ethan today, he ran his socks off in the final 3rd creating some great chances for the team.

Defeat for the boys this morning against a very good Spennymoor team. With a few players missing and only the bare 11 it was always going to be a tough one.

Hard work today boys with players playing out of position and no fresh legs.

The lads worked hard in the first half, going into the break at 1-1. Second half the legs started to go and with no subs we couldn’t freshen up and the game finished 4-1 to Spennymoor.

🏆 MOTM was Josh, he worked his socks off and took his goal well after great pressure from him and Ethan to win the ball back 👏

Yesterday the lads travelled to Hurworth and were on the wrong end of a 3-0 full time score.

A good performance from our boys against a strong side on a small pitch. Just not enough physicality from the lads this morning. Hurworth scored from 2 quick breaks and a corner (free header) which is something that we will concentrate on in traininag.

The scoreline didn't reflect the game overall in fairness but it was just one of those days that it didnt quite fall for us. Some great energy from Harley today, we thought he was class. Isaac was strong as an ox at the back too. MOTM went to Finnley who had great positioning and defended well today, winning his individual battles 💪

We're playing in a really good league and the lads have really taken to the step up and we are proud of all them. Their work rate and desire is never in question.
