Topping the league since week one Peterlee Helford over 60's started the final game of the season with a superior goal difference knowing that a win would secure the league title.
No pressure, we were in control from the early minutes to the final whistle winning the game 7-1.

It's a very tough league with some fantastic teams, so this is a great achievement for us. Every player has been an important part of our title winning team this season so well done everyone.
The Durham FA Walking football community goes from strength to strength each season as more and more players realise how popular and beneficial this sport has become over the last few years. I would also like to note the importance of the referees involvement in the success of the league. Special thanks to Durham FA (Amy) the format of the league is much better now teams play at one venue on the same date.

Peterlee Helford would like our supporters to share in our success, so the committee have decided to freeze season ticket prices for the 2026/27 season (just giving something back)

World Famous Exiles come to Wingate this Sunday 16th February with 2 teams from Newcastle and 1 from Darlington. If you’ve never watched a game of walking football before and you are interested in trying it come along and watch this festival of football, you will be pleasantly surprised at how competitive it is. Matches kick off at 10.30am so come along and check it out

Today Peterlee Helford Walking Football Club pay tribute to Tom Cowan (Tot).
Tot is the reason most of us play walking Football today.
He's our founder and inspiration, a sad loss across the Walking Football community
